Food and Beverage resins are glycerol/pentaerythritol esters of gum rosin specially manufactured to be used in chewing gum bases. This means their characteristics comply with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) regulations for this end use, namely color, acid value, softening point, odourless and tasteless.
